Meghan showed up unexpectedly at Paris Fashion Week on Saturday to support a close designer companion.

She was present at the Balenciaga presentation after making a solo trip across the Atlantic.

She has donned several creations by the brand's fresh creative head Piccioli and the visit reflected "her backing of his latest creative phase," a spokesman for the royal said.

It was her first time at the style showcase for over ten years.

"Over the years, the royal figure has sported various outfits by the designer," the spokesman said.

"They have worked closely together collaborating on design for important events on the world stage."

"She has long admired his craftsmanship and contemporary grace, and this evening was the same."

"Tonight represents the peak of many years of artistry and companionship, shown through her support for his new creative chapter at Balenciaga."

The duchess, who shared her presence in Paris with an social media post, chose a white outfit of wide-leg trousers and a blazer from the line for the event on the weekend.

Meghan is last known to have traveled to the UK in September 2022 to participate in a philanthropic gathering and was in the country when the late Queen died. The couple then remained for the funeral.

Her husband saw his parent, the monarch recently amid speculation about a mending of ties.

Harry has made several trips to the UK in the past few years for a range of activities including for fundraising occasions and to attend court cases.

Recently, the Duke of Sussex joined remotely for a court session in a lawsuit against the publishing group.
